Obituary of Richard Lofton Ware

WARE, Richard, 65, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Monday, July 4, 2011. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and served in the Viet Nam War. Richard was a Tampa native having graduated from King High School in 1965 where his basketball skills always shined on the court. He retired in 2001 from Orkin Exterminating Company. Richard enjoyed his fishing and poker days with very close buddies, Jack Morrell and the “boys”; and his Monday lunch bunch at Bostons. His children warmed his heart; he was a good father, grandfather and great grandfather. Nothing like coming to “Gran and Pepa’s” house for a day of spoiling. He will be greatly missed but will live on thru his family. On the 4th of July always remember when you see those bright colors in the sky, he is watching down on us with remembrance. He is preceded in death by his parents, Al and Virginia Ware. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karen; daughter, Dena; three brothers, Allen, Doug, and Russ; sister, Cindy; grandchildren, Richard and his wife, Kayla, Tania and her husband, Alex and Nicolas; great grandchildren Richelle and Christian and many nieces and nephews who he loved so much. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Immediately following there will be a gathering at the home of Jack and Mary Morrell.
