Love of country, love of Lynch and friends, love of his "paradise" & FL friends, love of flowers, especially his beautiful orchids, love of his beautiful dogs, love of sports -as a coach and a player and most important, love for his family and his fun loving Audra - such an amazing guy! He was a classmate to my older brothers and sisters, my teacher at Lynch who kept in touch by email for the past several years and sent me some of the nicest greetings weekly. I will miss his pictures of his "girls", his decorated golfcart and his lovely flowers, his stories of Lynch and our beautiful mountains. I know he will have a "grand ole reunion" with his Audra and so many of our Lynch friends there in his heavenly home. God Bless his family and keep them in His Care. Look to the sky, there's definitely a star up there for ole Bill to keep an eye on all of us!

We will miss seeing you in the golf cart with your beloved dogs. Each time we saw you it took us back to the days when we had our own precious Peke. I am sure Audra has kept her voice in tune and that she is now singing "You Ain't Woman (Angel) Enough to Take My Man" to all the other angels in Heaven. May you both rest in peace and enjoy eternity together.

To the Bosch and Caudill families .. please accept my deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts. You have lost an amazing member of your personal family; his friends and neighbors have lost an amazing individual in our lives. Bill was an icon in our neighborhood .. he was the Ambassordor of Ponkan Road, the "Welcome Wagon of the Groves", our magician, entertainer, master gardener, and clown. Bill loved his holidays, decorating, sports, golfing, tennis, his "girls" and shared his love with everybody he met. We were all so fortunate to count him as our friend. I have an empty spot in my hearf but know he and Audra are holding hands and looking down on us and smiling as they are together again.May God be with all of you at this time.

I met Bill 8 or 10 years ago through his website on Lynch, KY while doing some family research. What a great source of information assembled by a guy who lived there. A couple of years ago, Bill invited me and some friends of mine to the Lynch Reunion. We got a whirlwind tour of the tri-cities and surrounding area of Black Mountain that Bill loved so much. Bill was able to bring many of the stories I heard from my grandpa to life since Bill experienced many of the same things and frequented all of the same places. Bill's background as an educator and steward of the land, as well as someone who obviously loved to learn made for a great educational trip to a bygone era through his eyes and memory. Bill introduced us to many area residents and family members at the reunion. Having met Bill in person for the first time on this trip, we all felt like we'd known him for many years. He was a guy who loved life and someone who had the gift of seeing the best in people and I'm sure he was the kind of teacher who brought out the best in his students. A true gentleman with a lot of class. We'll miss you "Ole Bill".

Bill will be missed by all of his friends and all will mourn his passing and feel the empty spot his passing has left in many lives. He was most definately one of a kind and a man that I considered as a friend. Bill loved the mountains and the town where he grew up. He and Audra fought for many years to stop the destruction of the mountains by the "strippers" who contaminated the streams and left irrepairable scars on the landscape when the coal was gone. He wanted so bad to preserve for the children of the future the beauty he had enjoyed as a youth. Maybe his contributions to the fight to save the mountains made a difference. I didn't have the privilege of knowing all of his brothers and sisters but I did know two of his sisters, Ann Garris and Irene Florek. Ann has also passed on and Irene is the only one left of the siblings. Irene, if you read this I am sorry for your loss. Corky and Richard, and those of the family that I did not know, you all have my sympathy because you have lost a good man. Bill was a brave, kind-hearted, and gentle man that lived life to the fullest, and I'm sure he passed on with the same dignity he maintained through the years that I knew him. Gene Blair

Uncle Bill (my last surviving Bosch Uncle) was always an inspiration with his sharp mind, steel wit, and subtle humor. We communicated weekly for the past ten + years, and I will greatly miss him. He maintained his convictions, and shared his trust and support with all who would interact with him. An avid supporter of down-home Lynch. A proud Bosch to the end.

We were Bill's neighbors and friends since 2003. He and Audra welcomed us to the neighborhood when our home was under construction. We loved them both. Bill came out of his house on April 7, 2011 at 5:30 AM to say good-bye to us as we left the Groves for our annual trip north. It is our last image of our beloved friend. May he rest in peace beside Audra, a truly grand dame.
