Obituary of Alice L. Adcock York

YORK, Alice L. Adcock of Odessa, Florida passed away on March 28, 2011. Alice was born on August 29, 1937 to Marshall Adcock, Sr. and Martha Stevens Adcock in Monroe, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her parents, baby boy York and her daughter, Jenafer York Rogers. Alice is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Billy J. York, Sr.; five sons, Billy York Jr., and his wife, Diane of Land O’ Lakes, Eric York and his wife, Cheryl of Dade City, Chris York of Temple Terrace, Andy York and his wife, Debbi of Odessa, and Tom York and his wife, Gina of Ringgold, GA; daughter, Alisa Saladino and her husband, Steve of Tampa; eighteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brother, M. F. Adcock, Jr; five sisters, Linda Trull, Judy McManus, Becky Tucker, Marsha Salsedo all of Union County, NC and Modean Correll of Fern Park, FL. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 1 at Trinity Memorial Gardens. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 31 at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
