Obituary of Levis Ronald Land

LAND, Levis Ronald “Ron”, 69, of Lutz, Fla., passed away Monday, March 21, 2011. He was born in Tampa and was baptized in the Baptist faith. Ron was a graduate of Hillsborough High School and worked as certified draftsman. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Tampa and his master’s degree in Criminology from Nova University. Ron retired as a Correctional Probation Supervisor for the State of Florida Department of Corrections. He is preceded in death by his father, George Land. He is survived by his mother, Macile Land of Lutz; son, Douglas Land of Lutz; daughter, Cheryl Capelli and her husband, Robert; daughter Teresa Roberts and her husband, Pat; their mother, Betty Keene all of Tampa; seven grandchildren, Michael and Daniel Sardegna, Alex, Andrew and Alivia Land, Jessica and Alysha Queirolo. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Lutz Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
