Obituary of Larry Charles Contat

CONTAT, Larry, “Black Jack”, 70, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011. He was born in Mishawaka, Indiana and moved to Florida in 1968. Larry was a retired Master Electrician. He founded and owned Larry’s Electrical Service in Land O’ Lakes. He was a member of AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics). He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes. Larry was a self taught banjo and guitar player, he enjoyed country western music and dance. He also had a life long passion for fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mildred Contat. He is survived by his two sons, Jerry and his wife, Andria of Brandon and Spencer of Colorado; two brothers, Dale and his wife, Tillie of Land O’ Lakes and David Contat of Georgia; two sisters, Peg Hesch of Georgia and Rosemary Dixon and her husband, Gene of Indiana and grandchildren, Justin, Jared, Jakob and Louis. A Sunset Celebration of Larry Contat's Trip to Heaven will be at 6:00 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Larry's Lakehouse.
