Obituary of David Allan Leader

LEADER, David Allan., “Pops”, 60, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012. He was born in Syracuse, New York and moved to Florida from Hedgesville, West Virginia in 1989. David was a United States Air Force Veteran. David was a 1980 graduate of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. He was a private school teacher, then principal before becoming the Pastor of Victory Tabernacle for twelve 12 years. He was a member, deacon and men’s ministry pastor at City Church of Mobile, Alabama. He played guitar for the church praise and worship ministry and his deepest gifted talents were for teaching God’s word and serving in missions. David later worked for MacGray as a service manager and service technician for fourteen years. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Debbie; son, Andrew Leader of Mobile, AL; three daughters, Jessi Marais and her husband, Donovan of Trinity, FL, Sarah Rochotzke and her husband, Jake of Kansas City, Kansas and Carey Leader of Lakeland, FL; mother, Betty Leader of Naples, FL; brother, Philip Leader and his wife, Denise of Troy, MI; parents-in-law, Rev. Millard and Nellie Pipkins of Mobile, AL; two grandsons, Ethan and Wade and many extended family members. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
