Obituary of Robin R. Whittemore

WHITTEMORE, Robin Rounds, 52, of Land O’ Lakes passed away in the company of her loved ones on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Robin grew up in Henderson, NY and has been living in the Tampa Bay Area for thirty years. Robin and her husband, Bill lived in California and Texas briefly before moving to the Tampa Bay Area. She worked in the telecommunications industry, as a Fraud Associate. Robin has resided with her, Aunt Jean (Beanie) in Land O’ Lakes for several years. She enjoyed attending the theater to watch her cousin, Maisha perform. Robin had an amazing sense of humor, and loved to make others smile. She loved cooking, making jewelry, creative writing and was interested in animal rights and protection. Robin loved visiting Tarpon Springs and St. Augustine. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Sally Seeber Rounds, and her husband, Bill. She is survived by her brother, James, Jr.; sister, Joy Rounds Gilbo and her husband, Norman; aunt, Jean Rounds Gerace; grandmother, Ann Seeber; cousins, Debbie Weeks, Jessica Weeks, Jeremy Weeks, Maisha Esdaile and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends. A memorial service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Humane Society of the Nature Coast or HPH Hospice.
