Obituary of Thomas J. Campbell

CAMPBELL, Thomas J., 87, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Fla., in 1979. Thomas was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during WWII. He was a Mechanical Engineer with Reflectone in Tampa. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria; his brother, James Edward Campbell and sister, Marie Hughes. He is survived by his two sons, Michael J. of Anchorage, Alaska and R. Scott and his wife, Beth of Washington, DC; daughter, Cynthia Bruner and her husband, Scott of Fredericksburg, VA; granddaughter, Natalie Campbell. A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 12:30 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Funeral Mass at the church. Donations may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in his memory.
