Dear Vi and Earl Just heard the sad news about Bobby. When I talk of Bobby and see his smile and blonde hair and many memories in the scout troop it makes me smile. he was a good young man. My Bryan remembers many camping trips and times they spent togther. We will hold those good times in our hearts. May God Bless your days and always remember his spirit. ~

When I think of Bobby what comes to mind is the smile, laugh and fun that accompanied all species of his chicanery, tomfoolery and hijinks. Quick to laugh and quicker to quip, he was always able to lighten the mood and lift the room. Not having known him as well as others, the evidence of his spirit to spread the fun was nonetheless pure. He was a good guy, had a good heart and when I remember him I'll smile.

Bobby - thank you for teaching me how to laugh at anything and everything. You meant more to me than you probably knew. Ashley and Carson - I'll always be there for you, just as Bobby was for me. I'm very thankful to have known such a great person.

To Vi, and Earl. I just want to say how sorry I am to see this. Bobby was one of the nicest young boys I had the pleasure of working with during scouting. He never ever was anything but pleasant, easy to get along with and was probably one of the most liked boys in the troop. He always had a smile and was a joy to be around. He was as good of an example of what someone would want in a son. My heart goes out to all of you and we have all lost an important part of the things that make life better.

Viola, my heart truly hurts for you. I am praying for the family. I believe the hardest thing one goes through is to lose a child. I want to leave a poem my son left for me when he died. Miss Me...Bue Let Me Go Miss me..but let me go, when I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in gloom-filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me... a little, but no too long And not with your head bowed low Remember the love that we once shared. Miss me...but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take and each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's Plan . A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart. Go to the friends we know and bury your sorrow in doing good deeds. Miss me... but let me go. I love you. Marilynn

Bobby, I think I speak for everyone when I say we wish you realized how much you are going to be missed. When you and Ashley met, you two were so young and I was protective of her almost like she was a sister. But I came to like you very soon. You liked rock climbing, I liked hiking, and you loaned me your copy of the book "Into Thin Air." To this day, I always mention that book when someone asks me to recommend one. We will always be here for Ashley and Carson. John

Bobby, I can't say what you meant me. Your were more than a son. You were what we could always count on for the laugh of our life. Our hearts are so broken - I want you back. As long as you are at peace and I believe that you are we will find that peace within ourselves. You were a fantastic son and brother. You were David's hero, friend and idol. We are so very fortunate to have you in our lifes. You are my little Oranaguten Jr and I'll love and miss you every day for the rest of my life. XXOO

Bobby, When you and Ashley first started dating both her mom and I looked at each other and knew that our daughter had fallen in love. Actually I think we said “Oh no” because we saw the look in both yours and Ashley’s eyes. We have always tried to treat you as a son and not a son-in-law, even when you dismantled an entire jeep in our front yard and left it there for a year. I know I speak for Barbara and your family that we will all do everything we can to keep Ashley and Carson safe. We love you and pray that you are at peace. Rick & Barbara Stanton

A Poem for you: We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday and days before that too. We think of you in silence, we often speak your name. All we have are memories, and your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we will never part. God has you in His keeping, we have you in our hearts. A million times we've wanted you. A million times we cried. If love could only have saved you, you never would have died. It broke our hearts to lose you. But you didn't go alone. For a part of us went with you...the day God called you Home. May the Lord comfort you during this very sad time.

Bobby, you came into my life when my two sons were nearly grown. You gave me a chance to be a "Pop". We learned from each other. You never had a "step-dad" and I never had a "step-son". The memories I will cherish forever. I'm very proud to have been a part of your life. I will love and miss you for the rest of my life. You are my third son! Your Proud Pop

Bobby - I had to write something here today because Sunday was a full year that you've been gone from our lives. Everyday I look at your picture but I smile first before the sadness sets in. It just goes to show you what you meant to us. I remember the last time you said you loved me and that was a few days before you left us. Your hug was tighter than ever and your words were so clear - I know now you were saying goodbye then. Everyday there are reminders and the pain of losing you. Your Dad and I wish we could turn back time but I hope you're out there in our back yard - climbing the lamp posts, trying to walk on water - or doing the unbelievable like crashing into your Dad's van. Don't worry - I'm still looking for the door for YOU! David and I speak of you often and we laugh really hard - he's still trying to be just like ya! I'm lucky I still have some of you in him - the apple didn't fall far from the Charret tree! Love you honey and miss you every day - say hi to my parents if you can read this without your glasses...!
