Obituary of Lawrence E. Schneider

SCHNEIDER, Lawrence E. “Bud”, 82, passed away January 22, 2011 after a long illness. Bud resided in Arden Courts Assisted Living. A 26 year Air Force Veteran, he retired as Chief Master Sgt. in 1971. Bud loved to travel and enjoyed the competitiveness of pinochle and dominos. Known for being a fun-loving guy, he never met a stranger. Bud is survived by his wife of 59 years, Gisela; daughter, Carol, her husband Randy and several grandpets, all of Tampa; brother, Ray; sister, Kitty; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who all reside in Louisiana. A funeral service will take place in Mowata, Louisiana at the church of his childhood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bud’s name to Lifepath Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
