Obituary of Joseph F. Dottavio

DOTTAVIO, Joseph F., 90, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts passed away Friday, January 21, 2011. He was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and moved to Florida in 2010. Joseph was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during WWII. He retired from General Electric, was a member of General Electric Athletic Association and enjoyed playing golf, baseball and was a champion bowler. He is preceded in death by his wife, Edna. He is survived by his son, Joe Dottavio of Placitas, New Mexico; daughter, Cathy Regan and her husband, John of Land O’ Lakes; brother, Guido Dottavio; sister, Irma Corcoran both of Pittsfield, Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Danielle Carter and Jackie Crumpton; three great grandchildren, Triston, Madison and Adrianna. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10 am on Friday, MArch 25, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pittsfield, Massachusetts. His final resting place will in St. Joseph Cemetery in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
