Obituary of Eleanor Rose LaBrake

LABRAKE, Eleanor Rose, 88, of Lutz, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011. She was born in West Stockholm, NY and moved from Massena, NY to Lutz in 1987. Eleanor worked for the Pasco County School System. She was a loving mother and wife. Eleanor is survived by her husband of 50 years, Leo; nine children, Shelba Gokey, Linda Robinson, Loma Kocienski, Francis Jarvis, Donna Shoen, Victoria Owen, Joseph LaBrake, Lisa Shahrpass, John LaBrake; two brothers, Judson McCargar and Wendell McCargar; twenty four grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 on Wednesday at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Florida National Cemetery on Thursday at 10 AM. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
