Obituary of Lydia V. Amengual

AMENGUAL, Lydia V., 98, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at her home with family by her side. She was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico and moved to Land O’ Lakes from Hollis-Queens, New York in 2006. Lydia was a homemaker and attended Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. She was a past parishner of St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church, Queens, NY and a Cursillista. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon S.; daughter, Marie Lou Serrano and son, Raymond. She is survived by two sons, Angel and Samuel Amengual; step daughter, Gloria Rodriguez; sixteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren and seven plus great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Stutzmann and Son Funeral Home in Queens, New York on Monday, January 10th from 2:00 ~ 4:00 PM and 7:00 ~ 9:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be at St. Gerard Majella Roman Catholic Church in Hollis, New York at 9:45 AM on Tuesday, January 11th. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, New York.
