Obituary of Wendell V. Rice

RICE, Wendell V., “Windy”, 92, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010. He was born in Hopkinton, Massachusetts and moved to Florida in 1987. He was raised in the Baptist Faith. Wendell was a United States Army veteran and served in WWII. He was a welder and worked for several companies in Massachusetts. He was a member of Woodville Rod and Gun Club, The Elk’s in Orange, Massachusetts and Brooksville, Florida and Post 172 American Legion in Orange, Massachusetts. He is preceded in death by his wife, Muriel Rice. He is survived by his son, Dale of Orange, MA; four grandchildren, Jason Rice of MA, Robert Rice of NY, Jennifer and Marcus Hardin of MA and Danny Bickford-Rice of Vermont; one great grandson, Remington of MA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
