Obituary of Gherbi Mokdad

MOKDAD, Gherbi, 62, of Spring Hill, passed away Friday, December 3, 2010. He was born in Algeria and moved to Florida in 1980. He served in the Merchant Marines in Greece. Gherbi was a high quality, high production painter for over 20 years and was associated with Floyd & Lopez Builders, Inc. for the past 12 years. He loved his family and enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and boating. He also enjoyed his two dogs, Boots and Buster; and bird, Sassy. Gherbi is survived by his son, Karim Mokdad (Nicole) and their two children, Jasmine and Bryce of Spring Hill; companion, Carol and daughter, Danielle of Spring Hill; and many special friends including, Brodus and Dottie, along with his friends at Lennar Homes. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Loyless Funeral Home.
