Obituary of Violet D. Batcho

BATCHO, Violet, 51, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Friday, October 22, 2010. She was born in Elgin, IL and moved to Fla., in 1981. Violet was a United States Navy Veteran serving as a hospital corpsman. She was a member of the Tampa Unity Church, bookkeeper at Greenacre Properties for more than 20 years and a Paws for Friendship volunteer. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Michael; son, Eric and his wife, Lauren of Tampa; parents, Paul and Elsie Prinner of Hampshire, IL; five brothers and two sisters. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Paws for Friendship, Tampa Chapter. A celebration of Violet’s life will take place at 2 pm on October 30 at the Tampa Unity Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Violet’s final resting place will be at the Florida National Cemetery.
