Obituary of Gregory P. McCarthy

McCARTHY, Gregory P., 48, of Tampa, passed away Tuesday August 31, 2010. He was born in Hartford, CT and was raised in the Catholic faith. He moved to Florida in 1986. Gregory was a United States Army Veteran and enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting & fishing. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn McCarthy. He is survived by his father, Paul “Mackie” McCarthy of Tampa and brothers, Peter, Danny, Kevin and Chris McCarthy. A memorial mass will be celebrated at Noon on Saturday at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tampa. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude.
