Obituary of Dennis Lawrence Ulmer

ULMER, Dennis L., “Pop”, 54, of Wesley Chapel, Fla. passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010. He was born in Somerville, NJ, was raised in Simi Valley, CA and moved to Fla. In 1995. Pop was a family man who enjoyed spending time with with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of Victorious Life Church in Wesley Chapel and had volunteered with Give Kids The World. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 23 years, Lynda; two sons, Dennis M. “DJ” of Fern Park, Fla and Kevin of Lutz; three daughters, Lahoma McMillion and her husband, Darryl of Land O' Lakes; Melissa Van Schaik and her husband, Chris and Deseree Ulmer all of Wesley Chapel; sisters, Sandra Powers and her husband, Mike of Washington; Diana Howe of California; Nancy Ulmer of Moorpark, CA and Elizabeth Alvarez and her husband, Vince of Simi Valley, CA and four grandchildren. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 10 at Victorious Life Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, August 9 at Loyless Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in New Port Richey.
