To Phil, Dr. Joe, Judy, Joe, and Sam, I can't say it enough how very sad and sorry I am to hear about losing the dearest friend I've ever known. Talking with Mary during the last four years has changed my life in many ways. The courage, strength, determination and hope Mary demonstrated was heroic. Mary is my hero. I miss her and feel as though a part of me is missing. All my love to Phil and the Morris family. I am with you all in spirit, prayer and always will keep you close in my heart. Rest in peace my dear friend until we meet again. I love you and will treasure all the memories of our lives together.

For Mary's family, I am so sorry I did not make it the funeral today. Life sometimes throws us curves and we don't always get to do what we would like to do. My heart goes out to all of you in this time of sorrow for it our loss to live without her smile and spirit. I remember Mary at GTE Data Services when she programmed alongside a whole "bunch" of us old timers as well as young folks on the Eclips project team. As the company continued to change people came and people left or retired as I did but I still have pictures of all the wonderful people Mary and I were priviledged to work with. I know you will honor her when you pull from your heart the memories you shared with her during the time you were blessed to be a part of her life. I am grateful for the time she shared with me!

To Mary's family: I was a co-worker of Mary's at VLOC, and although I did not get to know her extremely well I know that she was always smiling and happy whenever I saw her. I am very sad to hear of her passing. I prayed often that she would overcome the cancer. As we all mourn her passing, take heart in knowing we mourn for ourselves and our sorrow is for our not being able to see her again. She has gone to be with the Father and we are not able to begin to imagine the joy she has now. Turn to God for peace in this difficult time. Your family will be in my prayers. In time we will all be reunited and I am sure Mary would want you to be happy and take your time getting there....there is eternity waiting for each of us and our time here is brief. We should celebrate it until the next phase of our lives begin.

Take the wave now and know that you're free Turn your back the land, face the sea Face the wind now, so wild and so strong When you think of me, wave to me and send me song Don't look back when you reach the new shore Don't forget what you're leaving me for Don't forget when you're missing me so Love must never hold, never hold tight, but let go Oh, the nights will be long when I'm not in your arms But I'll be in this song that you sing to me Across the sea, somehow, someday You will be far away, so far from me And maybe someday I will follow you in all you do 'Til then, send me a song When the sun sets the water on fire When the wind swells the sails of your hire Let the call of the bird on the wind Calm your sadness and lonliness And then start to sing to me I will sing to you If you promise to send me a song I walk by the shore and I hear Hear your song come so faint and so clear And I catch it, a breath on the wind And I smile and I sing you a song I will send you a song I will sing you a song I will sing to you If you promise to send me a song Celtic Woman

Mary was a blessing to all who knew her. Even though she was going through storms, Mary was the one who reached out to others--she wanted to know how you were doing, to make sure that you were alright. She enjoyed life and celebrated it to the fullest. In these past few days, as I have heard the funny stories of her childhood, and her incredible spirit, I have felt more blessed than ever to have been a small part of her life. I rejoice now that Mary is whole, healed, and safe in the arms of Jesus! My prayers are with Phil and all of Mary's family--may God be with you.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. I met Mary at VLOC a few years ago she was a warm and friendly person always made you feel special when you talk to her. I kept up with her life for the past few years through emails. Even though I did not keep in touch with her personally I always said a prayer for her. She was a brave person going through what she had to. "Hope" is a very strong word and that is what Mary had. I will always remember her. My deepest Sympathy Rose

Our prayers are with Mary's family. I worked for Dr. Morris for 10 years and remember Mary growing up quite well....She was a very nice young lady and I always enjoyed talking to her...She and I had quite a conversation (at a baby shower) when she was about 16 years old..We sort of solved all the world problems that night!!!! Rest in Peace Mary, and know you will always be in our hearts..

Bye Maggie. My mom (Jean) thought you were the most wonderful child in the world. My mom had six kids of her own but when your mom Judy gave birth to you my mom secretly adopted you. Linda and I remember fondly your visit to our Sea Isle City rental home. We spent that weekend on the beach reminiscing This very day the centerpiece from you and Phil's wedding sits on our dining room table and will stay there. Say hi to Mom for me. -Your cousin David

As the parents of Mary's longtime and caring friend, Erin McCauley Martin, we are sad to learn of her passing . We will always recall the memories of the many fun times they shared during their school years. She fought a very long and courageous battle. Her suffering has ended and we know she is now in a better place. Our deepest sympathy is extended to her husband, Phil, and to her family.
