Richard won our hearts here at Loyless Funeral Home the day he applied to work with us. He was proud to serve our community and would go above and beyond what was expected of him. We remember his big smile and the look he gave over his glasses before he'd push them back into place as he told stories about many of his adventures back when... Richard, we feel blessed to have known you and feel honored to be part of celebrating your life with your family.

I only got to know Richard for a short time while working with him at Loyless Funeral Home. Richard and I would talk about Italian food and current events, he was so funny! It was pleasure to work beside him on services, every co-worker here enjoyed his company! We have a great bond between our staff and Richard was and will continue to be apart of it. We Love You Richard!

Your suffering that we witnessed, and traveled that road along with you, is now over. You are now with God as you told us on Tuesday that you would be. We are glad in our seven year, true friendship, that we could be with you in those final precious hours. You always were as close as a brother to both of us. Remember you are checking out the good fishing places for Bill, and thumbs up he got to feed you your chocolate ice cream with your last meal. We will miss our 8:00 oclock morning phone calls forever!!! Love You, Barb & Bill Bloodgood You will be sorely missed by us.

These last seven years, spent as Richard's lady, leaves me with the vision of a valiant man fighting noble battles against many obstacles. He was a honorable, passionate man who grabbed life with gusto and his enthusiam was infectious. It showed in his love for family, country, friends, or his taste in fine food . Missing him every day for the rest of my life, the treasure of memories will sculpt journey as changed person, because he loved me.

Dear family and friends of Richard Costanza, Our family considered it a blessing to know Richard. He was always full of humor and life and had such a positive outlook even in difficult circumstances. One of our fondest memories is when we went to a Ray's game with him and his daughter. We will really miss him. We know he has gone to be with the Lord and I am sure he will make everyone smile in heaven just like he did those of us here on earth. May God bless you all and grant you peace.

In the context of Richard Costanza's life, I offer a famous Shakespearean line: "This was a man." I can give many examples of his character. He was a man who cared enough to ask: "Should I send a 'Thank You' card for a 'Thank You' card?" He was a man who rescued and bonded with a disabled old dog. He was a man of boundless humor, whose favorite cartoon character was Pac Man. In his courageous struggle with end-stage cancer, Richard has taught me a lesson: appreciate every day as a miracle. He did! (Author's note: I have been privileged to know Richard Costanza, because my sister, Carin Bicker, was his partner for seven blessed years.) Affectionately, Diane Rau

Dearest Family, Friends and Loved One of Richard Costanza, I join with so many others here in The Groves Golf & Country Club who knew Richard in offering our deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate in knowing he is with our Lord and is whole once and forever. The measure of a life well-lived, as you know, is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. If the outpouring of sympathy on his loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that his indeed was a life well-lived. May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by us. In Sympathy, "Butch" & Wayne Coe
