Obituary of Bette Marguerite Miller

MILLER, Bette Marguerite, “Mamare”, 88, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010. She was born in Washburn, ME and moved to FL from Valdosta, GA in 2005. Bette was a World War II Veteran serving as a nurse anesthetist in the Army. She served in Austria. Bette enjoyed spending time with her family, playing the piano at church and traveling. She is preceded in death by her son, Judson Miller, Jr. and two sisters, Kay Morin and Ruth Washburn. She was the loving mother of son, Douglas Miller of Odessa, FL and two daughters, Kathy Williams of Waycross, GA and Shelley Hatcher and her husband, Ron of Odessa, FL. Proud grandmother of five grandchildren and one great grandson. Her final resting place will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. Services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Mental Health Association.
