Obituary of Mildred Beverly Kirkpatrick

KIRKPATRICK, Mildred B., "Millie", 85, of New Port Richey, Fla. passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI and moved to Florida from Hastings, MI in 1978. Mildred earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 1947 from Western Michigan University and worked as an Occupational Therapist. She worshipped in both the Baptist, as well as, the Presbyterian faith. Mildred was President of the Women’s Club in Hastings, MI and enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She, her husband Bill, and family enjoyed traveling and camping extensively throughout the United States. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" on March 29, 2010. She is survived by sons, Ron (Karen) of New Port Richey, FL, Tim and his wife, Diane of Monument, CO; daughter, Bonnie Rathbun and her husband, Mike of Harbor Springs, MI; brother, Vern Lewis and his wife Betty of Kalamazoo, MI; nieces and nephews, Deb (Barry) Klaassen, Pat (Scot) Stromsta and Jack (Roxanne) Lewis, and four grandsons, Brian (Amber) and Kevin Kirkpatrick and Nate and Jake Rathbun. Mildred’s final resting place will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
