Obituary of Clifford Haynes

HAYNES, Clifford, 74, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla passed away Wednesday, March 17th, 2010. Clifford was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad. He grew up and lived in New York. He moved to Florida in 2005 from Chantilly, Virginia. Clifford served in the U. S. Air Force. He was an electrical engineer and retired from Verizon as a manager and worked as a consultant with Houston Associates. He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church and a Knight of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Elizabeth; two sons, Michael and Stephen and his wife, Deidre Gambrell; daughter, Mary-Elizabeth; brother, Cecil and his wife, Pat; brother-in-law, Christian Peabody and his wife, Mayatu; sister-in-law, Rachel Paul as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23rd at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 22nd at Loyless Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery.
