Obituary of Alexander Corky Sulkson
SULKSON, Alexander “Corky”, 82, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla. passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2010. He was born in Chicago, IL and came to FL in 1999, he had been a winter resident of FL since 1979. He was in the US Army Air Corps. Corky was a color etcher and retired after 30 years in the photo engraving business. He was a good friend to many; he traveled the world, loved his family and enjoyed playing golf. He is preceded in death by his grandson, David Matthew Sulkson. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, June; son, Randy and his wife, Susan of Bolingbrook, IL; daughter, Vicki Cerny and her husband, Jim of Land O’ Lakes; five grandchildren, Heather, Kevin, Joseph, Jenny and Katie; four great grandchildren, Kamile, Sarah, Jamie and Aiden; sister, Joann Schroeder of Thomasboro, IL and three nieces, Marta, Nadine and Donna. Donations may be made to HPH Hospice. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 28th at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. His final resting place will be at Florida National Cemetery.
