I sit here writing this with a very heavy heart. Almost a half a century ago in Chillicothe Ohio, you were introduced into the Budz family and since then you have been the greatest Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister to all of us. You were truly an angel of God. I am not saying good bye, but only so long. Upon the Lord's request we shall all join you someday. God bless and take care of you, She walks with the Angels.

To Cousin Frank: Roses are Red and Violets are Blue, Here is a Special Poem to bid Farewell to our Sweet Mary Lou, As she was very Special to all our family it was True, And she was always a Loving Tribute to You. Frank you were the oldest of all the Koby Cousins, And with eight uncles and aunts, why it seemed like we had cousins by the dozens. Growing up you were always such an Idol for us cousins to Be For you played in a Band, became a Soldier, and were bigger than life being 7 years older than Me. Several years after the service you wound up in Chillicothe, But on the right side of those Bar's you would Be, To protect us from the bad fellows of our crazy Society. Than you met and married the girl of your Dreams, As Mary Lou Schmidt became Mary Lou Budz it seems. Then Frank, Jenn, Mark, and Laura came into your Life, All raised to be Great Young Adults by your Beautiful Wife. Then 7 Great Grandchildren came your Way, As Frank and the Lovely " Liz" in Land O' Lakes would Stay. Perhaps your time with her seemed All Too Brief, But try not to lenghten it now with Too much Grief. Lift up your Heart, and Peace and Love I wish to Thee, For the Lord wanted her now, and from all worry and pain she is now Free. Yes, Frank she is up there now, looking down on all that she can see, Asking our Lord to take care of you, And your Beautiful Family. Casey & Ann

Mary Lou was a unique and caring friend to us and a "sister" to me in so many great ways. She put her hand in the hand of Jesus and he is leading the way now until we all meet on that glorious day.

Frank and family - I'm so sorry for your loss. Embrace the love around you and know that it is your mom embracing you right back. There is an Irish saying that goes, "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." Be gentle with yourself and each other.

I will always cherish the memories of Mary Lou Budz. She is the amazing mother of my best friend (her daughter) Jennifer. Mary Lou has welcomed me into her family as one of her own and for that I will be forever greatful. To think I have been apart of her life when I was but a young girl of 12 and remained in her life through part of my 40's is treasured gift. I will always rememeber Mary Lou's smile and laugh when she listened to us girls joke around :) She always commented on the special friendship her daughter and I share and always encouraged us to keep our friendship forever strong. I will miss my visits with Mary Lou each year in September, but I will look forward to the day we meet again in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. I love you Mary Lou and I will miss you. Love, Carla (Rorrer) Bushart

Well, Granny, I am sorry that I never got to see you before you passed away, but I am sure you went peacefully and painlessly. I will always remember the times when you played 'Witch' with Vikki and me; I don't know if you played it because I had an obsession with witches or because you had a pretty darn good witch laugh! Hopefully you don't feel to bad about not making it up here for my graduation, you got to see all four of your children graduate and grow up into wonderful human beings. You should be proud of each and everyone of them. Uncle Frank has married a beautiful woman and has raised 3 amazing children; not to mention he rescued my fish tanks :p! My mother is one of the most contagious women I know, everyone wants to be around her due to her positive out look on life, no matter what the situation should be. Uncle Mark has married a beautiful woman, who I almost stole from him when I was younger :p, and has raised quite the energetic kids, whether it is Joey and his baseball or Maddie and her constant moving. Or Aunt Laura, a woman so dedicated to the career of helping children that she would take a risk and become the Director of Prim Rose. All of these children possess YOUR characteristics and you should be proud! Papa will be there to watch us accept our diploma and your presence will not be forgotten in that moment. Even though you may not be right here, right now, you will forever be here in past memories. Whether it is from the Christmas' celebrated down there in Florida or your contagious laugh that could light up the saddest person. You will be missed by a lot of people, but no more than your husband who has been married to you for 48 years. Even as an 18 year old to see the way he has stuck by your side through the past 2 years is incredible and could reform the biggest skeptics idea on what LOVE can become. Yet, we can all remember you at all times by the memories we have shared with you. It will be tough at first, but what one must do is not think about the death of a wonderful woman, but the life she gave to all of us. And for those that may be to young to remember her in a few years we will always have pictures. Pictures can be used as a portal to those who may have forgotten a memory or forgotten the person. However, we can all look back and see how happy Granny, Mom, Liz, was and is. When a picture is taken a moment in time is captured, and will forever be remembered. Lets not grieve the death of Granny, Mom, Liz, but celebrate the moments we will forever have, either in shapes of memories engraved in our mind or in the form of pictures. Granny, you may be gone physically, but your undeniable love will forever be with me, and with everyone you came in contact with. Love you, Mike
