It was great to have a Father-in-law only a year and a half older than myself. Dewey and I had great times golfing (approx. same handicap, a bunch) fishing and solving the problems of the world. Its been eleven years since we lost him and I think of him often.

I knew Dewey when he was a young man and I was a "little brother". It was a time when I could have been in the way, and probably was, but Dewey saw to it that I never felt that way. If I was not involved in his activities, I probably was at the stock car races at Phillips Field with King and Beulah. Always feeling welcomed and loved. What better can one human say about another than "he was a good man". Joel L. Miller

When Dewey was a young man just starting out in his adult life, he was wonderful to me and to my family. My dad Lloyd Miller, mother Ruby Miller, and my sister June Moreland have passed on but they all held affection for him. My brother Joel Miller and neice Ruby Luckhardt remember fondly how kind he was to them when they were children. He was always supportive to my sister and neice Ruby when I left Tampa. They all have related wonderful stories of how kind and what funny stories he told. I did not know his later family members, but have enjoyed reading their thoughts. My love and sympathy go out to Barbara and Lula Mae who were wonderful sisters to me. I know you will miss him.

I will always remember the smell of Dewey's cigar/pipe...I can't remember what he smoked but it had a distinct odor....He was a quiet man.....but loved his family dearly....he was "Dewey" with Pam's southern accent and "Grandpa" from Jennifer......He is now with "Momma" his wife in heaven.....to his wife on earth.....you made him happy~he was not much of a talker.....usually just a hello.....I'll never forget the Big Screen TV in the living room...and the huge recliner he would sit in........I can still visualize the big ole Teddy Bear~you were loved Dewey and you will me missed.....With love, Beth, Daniel and MaryRuth Confair

Dewey left us too soon to know him very well, but the times we did have the chance to talk with him he was a very pleasant person. He was loved by Sue & she didn't get the chance to spend much time with him before he left her for his heavenly home. He will be terribly missed by Sue, but she can have comfort in knowing she will see him again when she leaves this world. P.S. I know Kelly is rejoicing with him. We love you

Dewey provided love, stability, and happiness to our family. We cared for him more than he ever knew. He so enjoyed getting surprises for us and I treasure a special doll he chose for me because he liked her smile. He always was there if we needed something. In short, I don't know what we would have done without him. He will be greatly missed. Bob & Meredith Smith

Dewey was the older brother that every woman would have wanted to have growing up and continued to be into our adult life. He cherished his wife and children. They were his life and his job came up next in line. After retiring, he could tell some of the most interesting stories about his career in the glass container industry and some of the adventures in the many residential and job changes all over the country. He will always be in my heart and I miss him tremendously.

Aside from being the most unselfish man you would have ever met, he was the best dad any son would have wanted. He took time with me at a time when I needed him most whether it was throwing the ball, bowling or playing basketball .He always found the time. we will miss you Dewey, love Judy and Alan
