Obituary of Michael Eugene Chambers

CHAMBERS, Michael Eugene, 61, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away in Florida, Thursday, January 14, 2010. He was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and was raised in the Baptist faith. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Mike was a long distance truck driver and had worked for Shaw Industries. He is preceded in death by his father, John; and brother, Waymon “Wayne” Chambers Sr. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pam of Calhoun, GA; daughter, Michelle of Tampa, FL; mother, Nona of Calhoun, GA; brother, Ron and his wife, Nancy of Calhoun, GA; sister, Cindy and her husband Stan Hubert of Calhoun, GA; nephews, Wayne Jr of Crystal River, FL, and John, and his wife, Wynita of Tampa, FL; nieces, Donna of Wesley Chapel and Deborah of Tampa, FL. Committtal Services with Navy Honors will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
