Lloyd and Else Edmonds posted a condolence

In 1960 we met Rose, holding by the hand a little guy named Harold, both of who became part of our family. Later came Kathy and Mike. We will always be reminded of Rose when we read the poem THE ROSE BEYOND THE WALL: A rose once grew where all could see, sheltered beside a garden wall, And, as the days passed swiftly by, it spread its branches, straight and tall... One day, a beam of light shone though a crevice that had opened wide- The rose bent gently toward its warmth then passed beyond to the other side... Now, we who deeply feel its loss, be comforted- the rose blooms there- Its beauty even greater now, nurtured by God's own loving care. Love always, Lloyd and Else

Dear Harald and family, Jill and I are deeply saddend with the passing of a wonderful lady - Rose. Her courage and zest for life was certainly passed to her children and we will miss her and her hugs. She certainly gave them freely. Our biggest regret now is that we cannot be there for her memorial service, please know that we are thinking of her and you. Love, Mitch and Jill Johnston
