We are so sad about Uncle - words cannot express.... We will miss him terribly. I feel so grateful to have had him as my Uncle through my 48 years! Kristin and Jason are also so happy to have been a part of his life and will miss him greatly. He was so gifted and unique. He always made you feel that you were #1 and always made you laugh. He was not prejudiced or biased and was a friend to everyone. We Love You Uncle Ducky and you will remain close to all our hearts! Merry Christmas!

Uncle Don I already miss you so much and know that life will not be the same without you. But you left behind such a legacy of strength and values that will surely be carried on by your family. At least you are at peace with Grandma and Uncle Chay and the rest of your family. This Christmas we'll look at the snow outside and know that you are smiling at us because wherever you were you were always warmer... Love you so much... Lauren

Kay Ulinski and family: "Ducky" was an old high school frined at Ambridge High. We were "managers" for the high school basketball team during the early-to-mid 50"s. Ducky, Dick "Bones" Steponic, and I were close buds during that time. Off to college, marriage, relocation and we lost touch. I am saddened at his passing and convey my sincerest sympathy to you and his family. I pray that God will provide all of you comfort and peace during your time of mourning. HIS peace to all of you.

Kay, Although we have only known you and Don as neighbors for a short time both of you have secured a special place in our hearts. We always enjoyed Don's great sense of humor and his memory will always make us smile. We know Don is in a better place probably conversing with some fellow Steeler fans and he will be dearly missed. Please know Kay that you can count on us during this difficult time. We pray for your strength and peace. Love, The Bradshaws

Kay, Darcie and Don - Don is one of the very few men whom I trusted implicitly in all circumstances, I know of no higher tribute than to share that Don had my trust and respect. He and I struck a very special relationship when first met in Perth way back in 1994. Through the years, I witnessed Don's unique package of gifts; Don was always a gentleman with a grace and style that was pleasing to men and women, young and old. Don was ever the optimist, looking for the good in everyone and infecting them with his smile Don was a jokester...who could forget the time he proclaimed himself to be "Lance the Jackal" to all 500 employees of Walker via the corporate email system? Don was energized by helping others, he was tireless in his desire and efforts to teach and develop young people More than anything else, Don truly cared about people and it showed in his words and deeds I am a better person for having had Don as a friend and teammate....I have missed him since his retirement last summer and will miss being able to turn to my trusted friend for the rest of my days Rest in Peace Don....

Uncle, words can not described how much I love you and miss you already. I am so grateful and honored to have you as my Uncle!! Today I received this prayer and it seems so appropriate while I'm here with Aunt and your beautiful family. My First Christmas in Heaven I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below With tiny lights, like Heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow. The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear But the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here. I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring, For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing. I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart. But I am not so far away. We really aren't apart. So be happy for, dear ones. You know I hold you dear. And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. I sent you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above. I sent you each a memory of my undying love. After all, love is a gift more precious than pure gold. It was always most important in the stories Jesus told. Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do. For I can't count the blessing or love he has for each of you. So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear. Remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year Merry Christmas Uncle with ALL my Love, Lynn

Kay, Don was a gentleman of the highest order, full of integrity and a positive, encouraging spirit. If respect from friends is a measure of a man's wealth, Don was filthy rich. Paul said that “the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7)”. I have found this to be true, especially in times of great loss. My prayer is that it will be true for you as well. Randy Pittman

I had the pleasure of meeting Don at a young age, thus having the pleasure of knowing him a long time. I was there at the beginning and as part of the journey of 47 years he was able to enjoy with Kay. It was great having him as part of the family all these years. He was there to help me with advise, when asked, at various stages of my life which was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed the way he looked at life and always saw the good in everyone and everything. He knew when to have fun and when to be serious. I have always admired the way he embraced his work but also had time for his wife and family. You have left a big impression on me and also many great memories. I hope you knew how much I respected and cared for you. I will always think of you when I tie my tie. Oh heck "Ducky" Di and I will miss you!

Emageon was a better place with Don around. Networker extrodinaire, Don knew everyone and everything. He reached out to all levels to learn and share information. He was the ultimate businessman, and we had so much to learn from him. When I asked Don why he continued to work, he said, "being around you young people keeps me young." Being around Don, "us young people" could learn so much. We are all so much better off for knowing Don. I'm thankful for the time spent with him.

Don was a wonderful mentor, teacher, and friend to me, as I know he was to so many others. Such a wonderful, loving, generous, and humble man. So many things I loved about him - no pretense, no ego, such a love for people, humble, wise, a true friend to everyone, and he never ceased talking about his children, his grandchildren, and his "luckiest woman in the world." I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I will miss him terribly. May God be with you, Kay and family. Gray

Uncle Don was the rock in the family. He was such a smart person and was so interested in everyone's lives. We will surely miss his banter and wonderful outlook on life at family gatherings. Family adored him and looked up to him and I was touched when he offered to be my surrogate godfather a few years ago. It saddens me that my daughter will never get to meet Uncle Ducky.
