Obituary of Robert Raymond Ford

FORD, Robert, Sr. passed away on Sunday, December 13th, 2009 at the age of 74. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 31st, 1935 and moved from Long Island, New York to Lutz, Florida in 1999. Robert served in the US Army for 2 years and was a supervisor for a chain of Health and Beauty Aids stores for over 30 years. Bob is survived by his beautiful wife, Gloria Ford of Lutz, Florida; son, Robert Raymond Ford Jr. and his wife, Angela of New Jersey; two daughters Robin Bonita Rogers of New York and Wanda Dale Rogers and her husband Andrew of Texas; brother, William Ford; sister, Gwendolyn King; sister-in laws, Olga Ford and Lorraine Ford; grandchildren, Eben Rogers III, Christina Rogers, Andrew Rogers Jr., Danielle Ford, Christopher Rogers and Robert Raymond Ford III and four great-grand children, Eben Rogers IV, Aison Hernandez, Christian Hernandez and Jaiden Hinds-Rogers. Bob was loved by his family and friends. He shared his wonderful playful sense of humor, love and knowledge of photography, computers and trains with all. We know he is resting peacefully and smiling at us from Heaven. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 20th at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be on Monday, December 21st at 11:00 am at Florida National Cemetery.
