Obituary of Roscoe Conklin White

WHITE, Roscoe “Buddy/R.C.” Conklin III, 66, of Lutz, FL went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 29, 2009. He was born in Christiansburg, VA and moved to Lutz from Melbourne, FL in 1979. Buddy was a US Army Veteran and retired manager in the electrical wholesale business in Tampa and Winter Haven. Buddy had a strong passion for life, he loved the great outdoors whether out for a motorcycle ride, sitting in a tree stand or his favorite pass time; sitting in his boat with a fishing pole asborbing God's handy work while waiting for his next big catch. This passion was so abundant it spilled over into his son and grandchildren. He touched so many lives with his positive outlook and remarkable strength, a strength that few can surpass. He always considered himself to be a very blessed man no matter what life threw at him. When you add up all these attributes that made him who he was you realize that you didn't have to be looking out from a boat to witness some of God's handy work. He will always live in our hearts as a wonderful caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and a remarkable friend to others. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Dustin White in June 2009. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lisbeth; son, Scott White and his wife Robin of Brooksville; brother, Jerry White of Bigfoot, TX; two grandchildren, Devin and Megan and many aunts and uncles. Flowers will be accepted or you may make donations in his memory to Lifepath Hospice and Pallatiave Care. A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4th at Exciting Idlewild Baptist Church.
