Saying I'm sorry doesn't seem enough for the sorrow I have in my hearts for all of you. You all are such a wonderful family it hurts me to see all of you grieve like this.You all have brought laughter, joy and love in my life and I'm so greatful for coming into Marie's life. Jan always made me feel welcome in her life and treated me as if I were one of her own. I know she will be missed by all of you so much. From my own loss of my mother, memories are all we have to go on now. So in my experience, never forget her and remember her when you hear a song that reminds you of her, laughter, dreams, meditation, pictures, places you've been and always...Love. Jan, well I never called you Jan I always called you Mom, because you were like a 2nd Mom to me. I am so sorry to my second family, The Beautiful Loving and Caring MacWilliam Family, for your loss. And I am sorry for being so far away and not being able to be there for each and everyone of you. I want you to know that I love your Mom and will miss her dearly. My heart aches and my tears not yet dry pains me sadfully for this sad day. Since she chose Tampa, a home away from Mass. Jimmy and I became friends as young teens and I can never repay or thank her enough for that. I am proud to say Jimmy and I are best friends for life. I was also priviledged with making friends with almost all of her children in Tampa through Jimmy. I love you all and miss you so much. I want you to know she didn't say goodbye, just seeya later. Dear friends and family of Jan, What a marvelously arranged tribute you have created in honor of your mother/sister. I only knew Jan for a very short time, but found her to be a kind, delightful being. I am sorry I never got back to Gloria's house to play cribbage with Jan. Today we laid you to rest. You looked so peaceful. It was as if you were just sleeping. Your Sammie couldn't get enough of you as if she knew it would be a long time before she would see you again. Happy Birthday Jan! Family, I wanted to take a moment to let you all know that I am thinking of you this day (month). As you all know, I would not know any of you if it weren't for becoming friends with Ree. In that very long time now, I have come to know and love each and every one of you! I just want to let you know that I loved your mom so much before I even met her. Most of you know my daughter Leslie I gave up for adoption in 1976, so there has always been a special place in my heart for adoptive families and Ree couldn't have hand picked a better one. I know today and the coming days will be particularly rough, but know that I am praying for all peace and love to get you through. Just consider this - Your mom is having her first birthday in Heaven! I can't even begin to realize how special that must be.
