Obituary of Thomas Richard Shaffer

SHAFFER, Thomas, R., 63, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away Saturday, October 10, 2009. He was born in Latrobe, PA and moved to FL from Nevada in 1986. Tom served in the Air Force and Army National Guard and received a certificate of recognition for promoting peace and stability during the Cold War. He was a retired security police office and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, New Port Richey Chapter 78. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles L. and Mary Frances Shaffer. He is survived by his former wife of 21 years, Roma Shaffer of Land O’ Lakes, she remained his companion and caregiver for the past 11 years; Aunt Margaret Jean Lemkin of Anaheim, CA; brother, David and his wife, Frances of Ogden, UT; nephew, Aaron Shaffer and two great nephews. hn glover death datepsychology and lung cancer
