Obituary of Opal B. Pierson

PIERSON, Opal, B., 78, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009. She was born in Cincinnati, OH and moved to Land O’ Lakes in 1976. Opal was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling and most of all she enjoyed being a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a great grand mother. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Wurzelbacher in March, 2009 and son, Gary Everett in 1952. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Everett; two sons, John and his wife, Connie of Land O’ Lakes and Scott and his wife, Barbara of Land O’ Lakes’; sister, Virginia Diefenbacher of Land O’ Lakes; five grandchildren, Andy, Kelly, Stephanie, Brennan and Taylor and two great grandchildren, Kailyn and Garrett. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at Loyless Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Garden of Memories in Tampa.
