Obituary of William R. Johnson

JOHNSON, William, “Bill”, 90, of Lutz passed away Friday, October 23, 2009. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Lutz from Brandon in 1987. He served during WWII in the Army Air Corps. Bill retired as a Pharmaceutical District Sales Manager and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Director and founder of the Melody Makers Choral Group. He was predeceased by his grandson, Brian Lancaster. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rosalie; son, Robert of Jemison, AL; two daughters, Patricia and husband, Kenneth of Inverness and Barbara and husband, Robert of Lutz; daughter-in-law, Betty Johnson of Montevallo, AL; seven grandchildren, Jennifer and Andrew Lancaster, Joshua and Sarah Johnson, Jessica Mitchell, Heather and Daniel Gaylor and one great-granddaughter, Alyson Mitchell. A funeral mass will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at St. Mary Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28th at Loyless Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
