Obituary of Erlinda Dancel Gordon

GORDON, Erlinda”Linda” Dancel, 64, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away Friday October 9, 2009. She was born in San Antonio, Zambales, Philippines and graduated from the University of the Philippines earning a Bachelor in Education. For more than 12 years, Linda worked as a licensed radio operator coordinating relief for major natural, aircraft and shipping disasters. She moved to FL from Virginia Beach in 1996, was an accomplished pianist; enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. Linda was raised in the Catholic faith and attended Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her son, Randy Rojas. She is survived by her husband Phillip Charles Gordon of Land O’ Lakes, FL; sons, Jon Jon Rojas of the Philippines, Jason Gordon of Fredericksburg, VA; daughters, Aileen Abay of the Philippines, Sheryl Rojas of United Arab Emirites, Kathy Furman of Hampton, VA; brothers, Eduardo Dancel of Detroit, Mi, Romeo Dancel of Virginia Beach, VA, Arturo Dancel of the Philippines; and eighteen grandchildren. A funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
