Obituary of Shirley Grace Freeman

FREEMAN, Shirley Grace, 69, of Lutz, FL passed away Monday, August 10th, 2009. She was raised in the Pentecostal faith. Shirley was a medical technologist and had worked for University Community Hospital, as well as, Moffitt Cancer Center. Shirley enjoyed singing and was a member, with her sisters, of the Hodges Sisters Trio. She is survived by her three sons, Kenneth and his wife, Cynthia of Land O’ Lakes, Patrick and his wife, Lyn of Seffner and Scott of Lutz; daughter, Kimberly Shatraw and her husband, John of Land O’ Lakes; brother, John Hodges and his wife, Barbara of Lee, FL; sisters, Alice Scheiern of Land O’ Lakes and Betty Everett and her husband, Doyle of Madison, FL and five grandchildren, Aaron, Justin, Jason, Trevor and Alyce. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14th at Loyless Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lutz Cemetery.
