Obituary of Hugh Tyler

TYLER, Hugh, D. D. S., 87, born July 14, 1922 in Arcadia, FL and died July 28, 2009 on his 58th wedding anniversary. Hugh was the last remaining sibling of two brothers and seven sisters. He was an Army Veteran of World War II in the Battle of Normandy. He attended University of Florida predental and graduated from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1951 and practiced dentistry for over 50 years in Tampa, FL. Hugh was very proud of his family and loved them dearly. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Michael Tyler, two daughters, Cynthia Fernandez and Karen Tyler; grandchildren, Victoria Barthelemy and husband Eric, Andrew Cobb, Shaun Tyler and Antonio (Tony) Fernandez and great grandchildren, Arielle, Jayden and Maddox. He was dearly loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. A celebration of Hugh’s life will be held at a later date.
