Obituary of Iris L Beckett

BECKETT, Iris, of Land O’ Lakes, FL., passed away Monday, July 20, 2009. She was born in Jamaica, West Indies and moved to New York in 1967and to Florida in 2006. Iris was a retired nurse’s assistant. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sonia Barriteau. She is survived by her grandchildren, Annika and Jana Barriteau; great grandson, Kingston; sister, Lola Barnett of Land O’ Lakes; as well as several nieces and nephews, including Kenneth & Sheila Vassell of Land O’ Lakes. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Loyless Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oakside Cemetery in Zephyrhills. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
