Obituary of Daniel M. Strnatka

STRNATKA, Daniel M. Jr., 70, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away July 13, 2009. He was born in Binghamton, NY and moved to Land O’ Lakes in 1997. He was a graduate of Binghamton North High School Class of ’58. He served in the Army National Guard. He was the former co-owner of Indian Mountain Inn in Brackney, PA. Daniel retired from NY State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) after 36 years. He is a life member and former President of the town of Binghamton Fire Department. He served on the Quaker Lake, Pennsylvania Sewer Board. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Brandow Strnatka; two daughters, Debra and her husband Kevin Prokop and Sandra and her husband, Bruce Beamer all of Binghamton, NY; three step children, Lorie and husband Kenneth Staver of Centreville, MD, Susan and her husband Leo Jones of Binghamton, NY and Edward “Chip” and his wife, Jennifer Winchell of Tampa, FL; his “adoptded son” Cesar Granda of College Station, TX; sister, Frances Gaiser of Bothel, WA; seven grandchildren, Danielle Beamer, Hilary Staver, Bruce Beamer, Charlotte Staver, Warren Staver, Carolyn Jones and Trevor Jones and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in his memory to the St. Vincent DePaul at Our Lady of the Rosary. A funeral mass will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 16 at Our Lady of the Rosary.
