Myrley (or Mom as I called her) was my adopted mom thanks to my best friend, her daughter, Debbie Vetzel. I was blessed to spend time and know her as a incredibly strong woman who interacted with my family way back in Dover through the 70's and as luck and fate would have it, came to be accepted as part of the family through my friendship and sisterhood with her daughter and my best friend (sister) Debbie beginning in 1981. Myrley was of the old school, loving and raising her family on her own with a committment to her children throughout her life, loving and supporting them through all that entails. I thank God for her and her daughter Debbie who inherited all of the best of her. I will miss her so much. Her sense of humor and easy way she had of taking Chuck's jokes with a grain (bolder) of salt :-), loving him for his self and for him loving her daughter - what a family they made in the past few years that they were able to live together in Land O Lakes, through health, illness, laughter, tears and just plain ole love. Here there is so much less without her; Heaven's gates are more welcoming now that she is there. God, please be with Myrley's family that's left here, through their loss and grief, gently may the memories of her give some peace and smiles remembering what a unique woman she was.
