Obituary of Charles A. Robertson

ROBERTSON, Charles A. Jr. “Charlie”, 88, of Spring Hill, FL passed away Monday, April 20, 2009. He was born in Boston, MA and moved to Florida in 2006. He served in the Marines and then the Army. He was an officer for the Massachusetts Animal Rescue League and retired as a supervisor after 20 years. He was a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League and American Legion Post 248 in Tampa, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen and son, William J. McColgan. He is survived by three daughters, Kathleen McColgan of Brookline, MA; Colleen Settipani and her husband, Tony of Weeki Wachki, FL and Marylou McColgan “Lou Lou” and her husband Bill Harrigan of Spring Hill, FL; sister Lorraine and her husband David Hogg of Dover, MA; two nephews, one niece, eleven grandchildren nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A celebration of his life will be held at Loyless Funeral Home on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. hn glover death datepsychology and lung cancer
