Obituary of Jerry Claymore Rush

RUSH, Jerry Claymore, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away Friday, January 30, 2009. Jerry was born to Charles Whitney Rush and Maryann (Raglan) Rush in Baltimore, Maryland in 1935. Jerry is brother to Charles Jr., Douglas and Anne & Ila – cousin to Woody Rush and father to Jerome. Jerry was primarily self educated and highly intelligent – teaching himself advanced sciences such as computer programming and physics. Jerry enjoyed the search for truth through philosophy, religion and myth. An admirer of nature – Jerry loved animals especially his dogs; Rom, Gypsy, Priestess and Spirit. Towards the end of his days he developed a fascination with Meerkats and studied them through documentaries and books. Jerry was a man of Spartan discipline.
