GORDON, Lee Slayden, a native Floridian and Bayport devotee was born in Brooksville, FL on August 17, 1946. Lee was a graduate of Hernando High School in Brooksville, FL. She obtained her music degree from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL where she served as President of the ADII sorority. Lee also served the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Brooksville as choir director for over 30 years. She was known in the area for her musical talents as Director of the New Nostaligics, Choral teacher of Hernando High School and as a private voice instructor. As a loving mother, devoted wife and dedicated servant of Christ, Lee nurtured her passion for the Lord through her music ministry. In every part of her life, Lee radiated God’s truth and was truly a witness and a living example to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Lee was not one to be at the center of attention, but rather wanted God at the center, wanting all to know what God had done through her and for her. Her life was a testament for all to see the glory of God and how he works out the smallest of miracles to the greatest of blessing everyday in everyway.
