Obituary of Ruth Maybank Rogan

ROGAN, Ruth Maybank, 90, of Tampa, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2008. She was born in Staten Island, NY and moved to FL in 1992. She served in the US Coastguard during WWII. She worked as a school secretary with the New York City Board of Education. She attended Grace Episcopal Church in Tampa. In 1940, she married Francis E. Maybank. He joined the US Marines in 1943 and was killed in action in 1944. She later married Bernard Rogan who passed away in 1990. She is survived by her two sons Bernard and his wife Jackie Rogan of Tampa and Thomas and his wife Paula Rogan of Minnesota and one granddaughter, Shana Bernice Rogan. A memorial service will be held at Loyless Funeral Home on Monday December 29 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.hn glover death datepsychology and lung cancer
