Obituary of Vera Davis

DAVIS, Vera, 67, of Tampa, passed away Monday, December 15, 2008. She was born in New Rochelle, NY and moved to FL in 2001. She was a Vice President at JR Morgan Chase for several years and retired in 2004. She was a very active member of The Gospel Tabernacle in New Rochelle, NY which was founded by her grandfather, Bishop Gibson. She was recently preceded in death by her twin sister, Dorcas. She is survived by her son, Marcus Davis of Jersey City, NJ; daughter, Kimberly Davis of Wesley Chapel; parents, Clinton and Helen Jones of Orlando, FL; sisters, Karen, Jeannie, Wardella and grandson, Maurice. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19 at 12:00 p.m.. at Loyless Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Oakside Cemetery in Zephyrhills.
