Obituary of George J. Davis

DAVIS, George J., Jr., 90, of Wesley Chapel, FL, and formerly of Tampa, passed away Friday, December 12, 2008. He was born in New York City and moved to Florida in 1974. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and served as a nurse. He enjoyed learning new skills and was always ready to pursue a new adventure, including his passion for photography. He was a past President with the American Legion in New York and Florida. George was preceded in death by his wife, Ottie, in 1995. He is survived by his sons, Gene, and wife, Sandra of Little Rock, AR and Sidney, and his wife, Donna of North Reading, MA; daughter-in-law, Deanna Davis of Lynn, MA; grandchildren, Gene, Jr., Steven, Shawn, Gino, Gina, Tasha, Dianna, Sidney, Jr., Donna Ellen, Deborah, John J.; fourteen great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
