Obituary of Cleo Law Kirk

KIRK, Cleo Law., 75, of Lake Wales, formerly of Land O’ Lakes, FL, passed away December 1, 2008. She was born in Clearwater and has been a life long resident of Florida. She was a property appraiser for Hillsborough County and retired after 20 years of service. She was raised in the Baptist faith. Cleo was a majorette and alumni at the University of Florida Marching Band in Gainesville and a loyal Florida Gators fan. She is survived by her husband, John F. Kirk, Jr.; son John F. Kirk III and wife Candy of Plant City; daughter, Karen and husband Lowell Cain of Plant City; brother, Curtis Law and wife Maxine of Land O’ Lakes; sisters, Chloe and Bill Collopy of Tampa and Sharon Law of Land O’ Lakes and grandchildren, Mandy, Shea and Benson. A funeral service will be held at Myrtle Lake Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday December 4th. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening at Loyless Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. The interment will be at the First Baptist Church of Land O’ Lakes Cemetery.
