Obituary of Stanley Noe

NOE, Stanley, 69, of Land O' Lakes passed away November 5, 2008 suddenly as a result of a massive stroke. He was surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Troy, Missouri and moved to Tampa in 1970. He retired from GTE in 1999. He received his FCC certification at an early age, while working for AT&T in St. Louis, MO. He was a past member of the Mason’s and past president of the Jr. Jaycee’s of Granite City, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Opal. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Land O' Lakes; sons, Mark and his wife Mary and David and his wife Teresa; daughters, Lisa Caravella, Ellen and her husband Roger Rose, and Lori and her husband David Suarez; brothers Gary Detherow and Curtis Noe; and grandchildren Anthony, Jack, Emma, Nicholas, Zachary and Kayla. A celebration of his life will be held at the family’s home. In lieu of flowers, Stan's wishes were that donations be made to the Starlight Children's Foundation. This fund is in memory of Stan and will support the Starlight Children's Foundation's important mission of improving the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
