Obituary of Alice L. Gilmour

GILMOUR, Alice L., 81, of Tampa, FL passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Melech Hospice House. She was born in Throop, PA to Charles and Mary Coulthard-Dixon McConnell and moved to Tampa from Tucson, AZ in 2004. Before moving to AZ in the late ‘60s, she lived in Jessup, PA where she served as president of the PTA, a girl scout leader and was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church in Blakely, PA. She was a member of the Tanque Verde Baptist Church in Tucson, AZ for many years. She was a hard-working, loving, dedicated mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gilmour, Sr. and two sons, William and Robert. She is survived by sons, James and wife Faith, Wentzville, MO, John and Thomas, both of Tucson, AZ; daughters, Donna Wrightson and husband Bob, Swanzey, NH, Betty Breen, Tampa and Marion Woltman, Lake Forest, CA; sisters, Mary Conway, Scranton, PA, Jeanne Harvey, Dickson City, PA and Joan Rosiak, Manchester, NJ; several nieces and nephews; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
